To all parties interested in the P413 Senior softball bat...

Please look for Team GSC @ the Manteca tourney today and tomorrow with demo bats in hand...

Feel free to approach any of us and ask to use during your games and we'll be happy to oblige...

Depending on field availability, we will also try to hold hitting sessions as well...

Ramping up to full production capability has been a long and arduous process...

We will not go to market with the best bat ever made until we are 100% ready to do it right...

Those of you who have had the pleasure to swing it, you know full well it is worth the wait...

Those of you who have been so very patient while waiting, thank you...

I will be @ Manteca as well so feel free to track me down on my cell @ (949) 702-3880...

Blessings,

Jason @ God's Sports Company

I guess I just don't get it.....

What is the point of showing a bat that nobody can buy?

Shut Up & Pitch,

I've walked through a model home and not a single home like that was available for sale at the development, but I could buy an empty lot with the hope of a similar home.

I've been to an auto show, and viewed the car models for the coming year, but not a single one of them was in production yet so I couldn't buy one, even if I loved the design and features.

I've seen previews of a coming attraction at a movie theatre, and got quite excited about the film, but nowhere in the world was the film already available for viewing at that point.

In other words, promotion of a new product before it is available for purchase is very common in our culture. I've swung the new GSC bat at Rock 'N Reno, but all they had as prototypes were end-loads, so it wasn't a feel I liked. I talked to a new GSC rep this weekend, and he says they are aware that there is a great demand for a balanced bat, but it isn't on-line yet. Stay patient. I admire the fact that they don't take your money until they can actually give you the bat you desire.

Sure I could swing these prototypes all day long and admire how great they are.

But in the last 2 or 3 months I have bought 2 bats to replace broken ones. I'm sure you can figure out what bats I did not buy, because I could not buy.

I don't know of any Realtor showing multi-million dollar homes to people that are not qualified or can't buy in the first place.

Like that good looking, sexy woman coming on to you at the party. You know you really can't have. Go home and take a cold shower....

It's just a tease!

Shut Up & Pitch, since they didn't even have a prototype that I was interested in, I didn't order one, so I said goodbye to the looker at the party and went home to my wife!

GSC was in Manteca, I met Steve, and four others from GSC. Only saw one ball hit w\ the prototype which was by Steve, a nice line drive HR. Another player, up before him used a Reebok and also got an HR. One may have ended up as a single due to 1 up rule. But bat was well broken in I'm sure, I Did not see a P413 per say there but others as prototypes which in the norn for pre-production use from my experience with bat testing on 3 of the 5 bats I've done.
Too many unknowns for me to actually judge the bat as it will actually be when sold, but am looking forward to working with company as asked to do.
The 30oz I saw diid not feel end loaded as I expected. I use a 26 normally so I think that was positive for myself.
I talked to quite a few guys that actually hit with it in Reno or watched them being hit. All said they were really broke in well but needed the break in. I think that is relative and time frame for that depends on hitters ability, in reality.
But with a years warranty there is an advantage there alone.
Good seeing you there Omar.

You made a wise decision in leaving that sexy woman at the party. She is just a waste of time and will probably go and tease some other guy. Tease and talk it's what she does. Leaving with your wife is the best way to go home. At least you know you are going with a person that you feel safe and comfortable with.

By the way, is your wife's name Reebok, Combat or Miken?

Shut Up & Pitch, when I saw Miken, it was love at first sight. In fact, wonder of wonders, I still have my first love since 2003! I have heard that some of her younger sisters have not been as faithful and have broken off their engagements. Don't tell anyone, but I began to worry about Miken's faithful support a couple of years ago—she is up in years—so I actually have a secret engagement with Combat, just in case Combat is needed suddenly. I hear a lot of good things about this new gal, GSC, but seeing is believing, isn't it?

I received a P-413 last Friday at Vegas. I tried it against Hannington, Mass. in our early game but did not have the swing figured out. Used it at BLD with the AZ Rangers 60AAA and it was truly live and in living color. I used a 27 and it had serious speed off the barrel. I will use it along with a Rbk Barrage at Huntsman Games. If you have questions and need straight answers, call/contact me. Really appreciate SSUSA for everyones hard work and for their cooperative spirit in Vegas.
Thanks,

I have washed my hands so long ago with GSC that I will be a legal 50 + player in 2014 and looking forward to playing in all SSUSA sanctioned events. I had been waiting over 2 years to get a bat back that broke in under 25 swings and I had been getting nothing but lip service for well over those 2 years, before I asked to be removed from their list of people who have bats coming to them. So its no surprise to see they still do not have a senior bat in production.
Obviously I wish them well and I hope they do have a product out by the time I'm 55 , but I am not holding my breath.

Since I paid for mine over 2 years ago I would take my money back with interest compounded monthly. :)

Funny that I was promised the bat before July 4th that year.

GSC.... the greatest bat that money can't buy!

To All - Please remember that the GSC you refer to from years ago was Gates Sports Company under the ownership of Bill Gately. This company is gone & has no ties to us today.

The current GSC is God's Sports Company under new ownership with the P413 being a 100% American designed & manufactured product. Gates' bats were nowhere near the technology, performance, sweet spot & durability of the P413.

I would think that guys who were defrauded by Mr. Gately would be appreciative of the fact that the new GSC is willing to provide them with replacement bats far superior than the old 'Veteran' senior bat even though Mr. Gately was the one who defrauded them. If it is a target to vent your frustration you are seeking then perhaps you should track down Mr. Gately himself.

Yes, we have taken much longer to get to full production than originally anticipated. However, as stated many times previously we will not go to market until we are prepared to do it 100% the right way.

Which leads me to the current state of affairs. Team GSC just completed 2 full days of demo hitting whereby we put 1,950 swings on our P413 with greater performance & a larger sweet spot (10 inches) than any of our competitor's. BTW - The P413 with 1,950 swings is still going strong & has yet to break. We will hit 2 more early next week to verify max durability/performance/sweet spot.

Anyone desiring more details & real time updates can reach me directly @ (949) 600-7574.

Best,

Jason Martnick ~ Director of Sales & Marketing

This thing has been kicked around a long time and I feel compelled to respond to Jason’s last post. Yes, Jason is right, the original GSC no longer exists. However, if history serves me right, Steve was a co-owner of that company and his buyout (probably for the design patent rights) may or may not have any ongoing legal obligations. Contract law can be tricky and it may require a court decision as to whether previous purchasers have a legal claim. I say this, because the monies we paid in the past were used toward initial development of the new bat prior to Steve taking sole ownership.
Also, Jason is right in that the new bat will be superior to the old Veterans. I for one feel that I should not expect a bat for the low promotional price that I paid for the old bat. To that end, on two occasions, once in a phone conversation with Steve and another in an email to a member of the staff, I proposed that I should pay some additional amount while receiving credit for the money previously paid. This seems to be a fair and equable solution, we would get credit for our initial payment and GSC would not be giving bats away.
As far as the current state of affairs as stated by Jason, tells me that full scale production has not stated yet, and it will be awhile before we see any bats reach the market.

You are right about contract law being tricky.

It has been previously discussed on this board. This is a new company and the new company does not have any affiliation nor obligation regarding the previous assets/liabilities of Bill's company.

Steve has offered to replace those bats because he wants to, not because he is obligated in anyway to do so. You are wrong in your assumption that monies paid to Gates were used in anyway toward the development of the P413. Different design, different developer, different everything.

The only constant between the past company and this company is....none. When Steve determined the previous organization was fatally flawed, he went out on his own. As an investor, when it was apparent that Bill's company would never he successful he took the concept and found someone who could produce. When the people that sent money to Bill and never received product, finally get a bat. It will be a P413 and it will be because kindness, honesty and integrity are not just words.

Wow! That's a heavy analogy....these are guys stepping into new territory and I believe trying their best. I went through a few older Veteran bats myself and just decided to move on. These guys don't owe anyone....but trying to do well in their business endeavor! Would be interested in testing their new product in the Tropics! Aloha, Fabe
