Hotels in Vegas

Hi Folks:

We are playing at Shadow Rock in the worlds and I was hoping somebody had a hotel recommendation near the strip and on the same side of town as the ball fields if that is possible. I looked at the Eastside Cannery but am looking for more options that may be a step up in quality.

Thank You:

James,

From a distance from hotel to Shadow Rock, either Boulder Station or Eastside Cannery would be your best bets. Both hotels are priced right and have very nice rooms. As for dining choices, Boulder Station offers much more. Good luck.

Boulder Station is closest, and I believe they are offering free breakfast.

Dbax,
You are correct. The Boulder Station stay includes two vouchers per room/per day fr the breakfast buffet.

I believe all the "Station" hotels charge a $14.95 per day "resort" fee for stuff most softball players don't use. Last time I stayed at Palace Station that was the case.

Check out Sam's Town if playing at Shadow Rock.

DoubleL10,
I'm staying at Palace Station and the resort fee is $7.99 per night. I believe it varies from hotel to hotel.

If I remember correctly, resort fee's are reduced for SSUSA. Regular approx., $15.00 to approx., $8.00, this includes internet if you need it.

hector is correct. "Resort fees" are reduced as a negotiated term of the host hotel agreements for those booking through the SSUSA reservation blocks. They will be at the higher rates for reservations booked through discount booking services like Expedia, Hotels.com, Kayak.com, Priceline.com and the like ...

Closest decent hotel is probably the Holiday Inn Express.
4035 N Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89115.Probably 10 minutes from the park, however it is a ways from the bright lights of the strip.
