Fabe,
I will have a new one with me. I will use it during the tournament and you are welcome to swing it. Let me know when you are playing and are hitting, I will show up to see if you want to swing it. I play for 50 Caliber, we play at 7:30 and 10:30 for the seeding games at Desert Breeze Park.

My Understanding is the GSC P-413 is still Not Legal for Senior Play if it doesn't have the Official Senior Softball-USA Stamp, as well as the 1.20 or 1.21 BPF Rating Stamp. Any Bat including the GSC Bat with a Decal or Label are Invalid and would be considered a Prototype, and therefore can only be used for Demo Purposes. There is still time to Verify, so somebody needs to get this Confirmed before the 1st Pitch. Have Fun, Be Safe, and Good Luck to All Teams ! ! !

Fabe,
I do remember you saying that about the 50 major. I will also be playing in the 50 major the following weekend. We have two 50 Caliber teams, 1 in the 55 and 1 in the 50, I will be there both weekends.

Fabe, JDub & All - The GSC P413 is SSUSA approved & will be in use by multiple teams across all divisions @ Vegas World's this year. We are not in full production just yet so no bat sales will be taken @ the tournament per my conversation with Terry Hennessy yesterday. If your respective team does not have a P413 to use but you play against a team that does simply ask them to use it & they will happily oblige. I will be there both weekends as well so if any questions arise or your team wants to track me down to take a look @ or swing the P413 please call my cell @ (949) 702-3880.

Best of luck to each of you & your teams... Play Ball!

To Dispel any Rumor and/or Innuendo, my Good Friend Dan “Rev” Arevalos has assured me the GSC P413 is Legal for Senior Play. SSUSA has provided GSC with Special “Senior Softball-USA” Stickers, which allows GSC a bit of Latitude until the GSC P413 goes into Full Production Mode. Thanks for the Confirmation Dan (before the 1st Pitch). Have Fun, Be Safe, and Good Luck to All Teams ! ! !

I just returned to Colorado from Vegas. I used and let players use the GSC P-413 and the Reebok Barrage. I was impressed with both bats performance and the P-413 was a solid and positive experience. Anyone needing more information regarding my experience with these bats, do not hesitate to call or contact me. I'll share info without hype! Will also bring them to Huntsman so others can see them as well.

I was lucky to meet Ed & swing 2 of the new Reebok bats, 27oz & 26oz. My opinion is probably not too important as I am only occasional power hitter. Also, only 10 swings each. The 26 did not feel "solid" to me, but hit o.k. the 27 was more responsive, better feel of the ball, and though not broken in @ all had some pop. I usually swing 27 balanced UII until later games, then switch to 26 UII. In the past I have used the same Combat combination, but personally am happy w/ UII. Big shout out to Ed for bringing them to our BP Thursday (Hannington's 55 AAA). He then played against us in the first game- doubling over the outfield!!

Curty: As a follow up to the new Reebok Barrage bat, I am told it takes about 100 swings to break in because they intentionally built the bat so that the flex would be in the barrel and NOT in the 2 piece connection. I am told they were hitting balls 400 feet on a baseball field with the new Barrage. When we hit BP in Vegas, my new Barrage bats only had maybe 40-50 hits on the 27.

Also, the 27 has an end load weight and the 26 bats do not have the end load weights.

I can take orders because I will have new Barrage bats on October 15th.

As I think about my hit in our game, I think I got a triple on you guys.

Take Care,
ed Andrews

LOL- it was a single and error!! Kidding of course- i believe it was a triple! And well hit! I felt more comfortable w/ 27- didn't realise the difference in end load. It had some good feel and would like to get more swings w/ both, but Massachusetts weather will prevent that for now. I'll contact you in the early spring. right now we are getting ready to hit snowballs. Nice to put a face and personality to a web name. Good luck on the rest of your season.

Am playing in St. George, Utah at Huntsman World Senior Games with Enviro-Vac 60AAA 2012 World Champs. Have been swinging the P-413. This bat is as solid as any I have ever used. I am not a home run hitter but as players will attest to, this bat is very performance oriented and the hits feel good, sound good and the ball jumps off the barrel.

Please call me to get a more "in depth" description of what I am experiencing here this week. If I can be of assistance, call on me.

Good Morning, An update on the new P-413 from GSC. Many of you in the west know me and know that I try to tell it like it is. I am not a power hitter like some of you are. I hit the ball hard and I play hard. The P-413 is clearly one of the most performance oriented bat I have ever used. The ball is coming off the barrel with authority. The ball is getting through the infield fast and some of the shots are getting to the fast before outfielders can get to the gap.

I told the guys at GSC, that I would not speak of the performance of this bat until I actually got one and used it. They got a 27 to me in Vegas and I tried it. It is the real McCoy and I can tell you I love it. Swings like a mid or mild end load. Feels good.

I've let quite a few players use my bat. Please chime in here and let me know and others know how it felt to you. If I can answer any questions, do not hesitate to call or email me.
