Interesting a 50M team playing AAA and don't give any runs. I guess you are very proud of your win. ISSA you pay you play, that is the beauty of it RB don't care he just collects the money. Congrats on your sandbagging win...My 2 centavos.

Congrats Eurkine on winning the tourney regardless of whether it was AAA or M. Paco, you are right. If you play in a RB tourney you better play down one class because he will let teams play down.

Thanks jrhunch....and oneofeleven ...we will take a break now and get ready for next year.Mr. Paco,if you pay any attention to the board, initially i signed up as a major team, along with mid-atlantic from up north. We were the only two declared Major teams at that time, they pulled out for whatever reason...my friend,I don't play down to win,and i don't sandbagged.Either we play by their rules(AAA) or stay home....pretty simple isn't it.

I really care less what you do and if you are a sandbagger or not, but just because u play by the AAA rules it is no excuse, you still a 50M team playing AAA. The difference is not on the HR allowed but rather on the overall quality of players. I played for few 50M teams and most of the time we didn’t hit all of HR we concentrated on hitting line drives and playing defense and by the way we won the SSUSA TOC 2010. However, the problem here don't lie with you but rather with RB and the association that is willing to allow you to play down so they can collect the money, at the very least your team should have given the 5 runs as an equalizer even though a lot of people including me don’t believe that is much of an equalizer. Enjoy your win, however if I was one of those AAA that you beat down. I will be disappointed that I paid the money for a chance to come 2nd. Mis 2 centavos.

Atlanta Monarchs started out playing AAA ball and they didn't win a tournament and get forced to move up to the next level. They moved up on their own to face the stronger competition. I have a lot of respect for this team. They are a great team.

First, I would like to THANK all that has called me for the vacant positions that i posted. I have talked to 5 ball players, and they will probably make a good addition to the Squad...additionally, i talked to a guy this morning, and added his name to the possibilities list....so the List is now closed.I appreciated the interest.

there shouldn't even be 4 divisions of every 5 years ..its ridiculous. You wind up with 4 or 5 team tournaments not even worth traveling to ..at the most there should be 2 divisions for every age group. and maybe it should be in 7 year groupings..48 to 55 56 to 63 64 to 70+ and over 70 a good tournament should have close to 16 teams in its bracket

Do you really believe that a 63 year old can compete day in and day out with a 56 year old player he may be able to hit but playing all day there is no way he has the stamina that a 56 year old has this also would apply to the 64-70 the other age group could possibly work.

I feel that the issue of expanding the ages in each
division is pretty much a moot point. It may make good sense philosophically, but it's not going to happen. There will be fewer total teams in most tournaments which means fewer entry fees and less money for the sponsoring organizations. Everything else aside, this is a business and the powers that be are trying to maximize profits.
Does that make sense?
