I could have had these up much earlier, but had sign-in problems. These are the kind of postings we are talking about when it comes to the results. We don't necessarily need the huge file with the brackets that fast.

I enjoyed playing ball at Papago for One Time in 60 Major and was glad to meet some of you guys on the various teams. Hope the Santa Cruz boys make it back to Pleasure Point safely and the Idaho Boys be safe as well. Hope your buddy and his family heal from their recent loss.

We had a really fun game Saturday night with Chain Link. Almost had you Dave. LOL

You guys who ordered bats, I did not deliver them as SSUSA requested that I not do so as this was a Miken sponsored tournament. So, get hold of me and I will ship your bats to you. Hope you understand. I wanted to honor their request.

What a competitive division with great teams and ball players. It's been a while since I have been fortunate enough to compete in this division and now I remember how tough a division it is. First thanks to Double Play for allowing me to participate in this tourney with them. Very impressed with make up of the team and their approach to the game and quality of their players.
I would like congratulate the other teams on the quality of their teams and how competitive they played. 4Seasons has a strong team that will only get better and Fan Grabbers as always fielded a very strong team with both of our games with them going down to the 7th or 8th inning. Didn't get a chance to play Phil's Just 4 Fun and Rio Grande's 55 but both teams played well and beat some very good teams.
So Cal played outstanding really putting it to us in the Championship game and getting off to a good start in the "If" game. Pete, Tony, Jack, Wayne and all the guys played great...very impressive. I believe they got a little tired after 3 straight hard fought games and Double Play started hitting and pulled it out in the bottom of the 7th.
Well run tourney and I have to wonder why this tourney was not attended by even more teams.

Steve,

My assessment of the "if" game, our team completely lost it's focus, and DP started hitting. After 3 innings, we're up 15-4. DP scored 16 runs in the next 3 innings to our 4. We hit into double plays in the 4th and 5th innings, scoring only 1 run.

In our open inning trailing 20-19, first hitter...one pitch fly out, second hitter...one pitch fly out, third hitter...second pitch fly ball dropped by OF, next hitter...grounder forcing runner. Game over. Have to get guys to focus better in championship games and....keep you in the Yard.

Great hitting Steve and always great to see you. Congratulations and we'll see you at the next tourney, or as team members on Studs and Duds.
