Al Dreschler - Pace Softball - Suddenly Passed Away
Very sad day for the Pace Softball Club of Rochester, NY. Just received word that Al Dreschler, teammate, roommate and all around nice guy, suddenly passed away yesterday. Al's wife, Trudy, passed away several weeks ago. Al has two children, Al Jr and Amy. Please keep the Dreschler's in your thoughts and prayers.

To the members of Pace and family members, I am very sad to hear the news about Al.

He was a great guy.

This is very sad news as Al was an exceptional person. With all that he has gone through it was a shock to receive this news. I only had a few interactions with Al but enough to establish the quality of a man we all will miss.

From Bigs Pace 51.thank you all for your wonderful thoughts.I just got home from saying good by to my great friend, teammate and mentor. Al will truly be missed. Please everyone pray for and keep his family in your thoughts through this holiday season. Als children are hurting beyond belief and need all the love, support and good thoughts we can give them. We may try and knock each others block off on the field, but one thing is for sure the senior softball family are a group that truly cares for each other. thank you again. Again thank you to you all

I was really saddened when told of Al's Passing. Great guy who loved to play ball. I will always remember him when he was in Cleveland for my SPA Big Cat Classic last year. It was one of those tough days when the wind is really blowing hard and in. Nobody was hitting any out until Big Al hit 3 in a row. It was quite impressive. He was using one of the bats I sold him. We talked in between games. Like I said I will remember his smiling face after he would hit one of those high flying bombs. May He Rest In Peace. God Bless.
