Lefty,

I can only speak on the 50's.
Kaysons 55 team beat Kaysons 50 team 20-17 to put them in the losers bracket. Then beat them again in the championship game 26-22.

Kaysons 55 major+ team 1st
Kaysons 50AAA team 2nd
Pensacola Merchants 55 major team 3rd
Brickyard 50 AAA team 4th
Southern Softball 55 major team 5th
Pensacola 50's AAA team 6th

Format for pool play
7 run limit 2 homeruns then a single
For double elimination
7 run limit 2 homeruns 1/1 up additional homeruns a single.

The Kayson 50 team played a great tourney this past weekend. One of the finer basehitting teams with a little power when you need it. a hit here or there the Kayson 50's would have won this tournament. the way that your team handled the Pensacola team had all of us thinking if we could slow your team down not much win. with the score tied in the 6th it was anyone game. look forward to see all of your team again. look out for that Maor rating

Elmo,

Not going to argue with you about it.

If you say you are major and Pensacola Merchants are AAA then you are major and they are AAA. I stand corrected.

As far as Southern Softball I thought they were moved up to major for next year. They are a very good AAA team and I don't think they should be moved up to major.

All three teams are very good and you are a great bunch of guys and fun to play against.

Hey Don,

Always great to play you guys, great competition and only makes us better. As far as a major rating if it happens we will play but it won't take long to get moved back down when we have to start playing by their rules instead of ours.

Good luck to all of you.

Steve,
You may be right about Southern Softball, but I think since they have moved up to 55, they automatically classify as a AAA team, just like we do.

We are a good Major team, but don't rate a major +. It was good to see you guys this past weekend. You guys have a great ball team!

Elmo, Southern Softball has been playing 55+ for three years. The first year they were called Alabama 55's. That's the year I played with them.

Lefty, I was told the 50's and 55"s were combined. The results are in the post by SAG.
