best article ever on Physics of softball bats
Guys, I came across this a few days ago and it is fantastic....even though some of the info is from the early 2000's, the technology is there and I spent a good part of sunday reading it....covers everything you wanted to know about bats and physics and sweet spots and pivot points and it was really eye opening.....there are numerous topics from rolled bats, to cheater bats and the physics etc (not endorsed here or on the site) just the facts......enjoy

Good read! Wish I knew more physics so that I could understand it better. After reading, it sounds to me as if bat companies could devise a system that would tell us (as customers) more about the swing weight and feel of a bat.

Holy smoke...I need to block off an entire weekend to get through all of that info. Where do I find the cliff notes?
