| Dec. 11, 2013 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | Southpaw's Annual Warm-up Tourney A one-day tourney on Saturday, March 1, 2014, IN BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA. The location is George Ward park (AKA Green Springs). I will have 5 fields available and WILL TAKE NO MORE THAN 20 TEAMS; 4 teams per field with a 3 game guarantee. Playoff game for top 2 teams on each field if interested and time permits. First games are 10 a.m. 5 HRs, then walks; one hour time limit, plus open. Entry fee: $190, includes umpires (2 per field) and 6 softballs. You can also use official SSUSA and SPA softballs. Info: Steve 205-647-2881 Note: This past March is the first time in over 10 years that this tourney has not made, due to inclement weather. We will not play unless it is 50 degrees plus. | Dec. 18, 2013 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | Having almost died this past May with Acute Pancreatitis, this Christmas season has been especially enjoyable (as is every day!). I do hope everyone in Senior Softball has a great holiday and Holy Day season and look forward to seeing you on March 1 and beyond. God bless |
