| Feb. 12, 2014 Kyphogt Men's 55 28 posts | The Villages I will be visting in The Villages 4/18 thru 4/23 or 4/24 and was hoping to get some BP in and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. If there are any "Villagers" on this board that I could connect with to get some swings in I would greatly appreciate it. George |
| Feb. 13, 2014 BudLeftField 86 posts | Hi George-The winter season ends on 4/11, then they close the fields for maintenance until the summer season starts in May. There are a couple of fields outside of the Villages that can be used for practice. There are two batting cages right out side the Villages on Rolling Acres Road and SR 466. There is a field nearby where you will find some open practices going on. It is about a quarter of a mile north of Rolling Acres rd. and 466, on rolling Acres. It's called Harry Sachs field and is pretty well kept. The outfield fence is 250 ft. Hope this info helps. Bud |

| April 12, 2014 Kyphogt Men's 55 28 posts | thought I would try again..will be in The Villages visiting family Thursday 4/18-4/23 and was hoping to catch on with any senior batting practices or pick up games within the Villages during my stay. I am from Boston, new to Senior ball and have several new senior bats I am looking to hit with outside in "normal " temps (-:. Thanks..George |

| April 14, 2014 BudLeftField 86 posts | Hi George and Gary-The Villages fields are closed from April 12th until april 26th for maintenance. During the season there are open practices all day Sunday. You might find an open field to practice on in the afternoons during the week We are in our Fall season during the Winter nationals in Nov., so you will be able to find an open practice without any problem. |
