New senior bats
Does any one have an accurate release date for the Easton "Elder" and the Louisville Slugger "Hyper Z" and where they can be purchased?

According to guys on Softballfans board, Hyper Z pushed out to July. Easton due April, hope that isn't delayed with the Easton buy-out though.

Bauer bought Combat and now Bauer has bought Easton. It should make it for a wild deal...

I've been hitting the Easton Elder since January... It's all been in cages and haven't gone outside to hit for distance 'yet' BUT, big sweet spot, ball comes off like a rocket! And the best part, we've had an average of 6 guys hitting with it, at least 2 buckets per guy for 7 weeks now... Thats at least 2500 cuts on the bat!!! I've busted Ultra II's in 60!

The Easton Elder I swung had close to 1,000 cuts and was insane. That's why our 50 major team jumped at the chance to do a buy in with Easton. We feel very happy about buying our bats at $140.00 a piece and we also get significant discount on all ASA / USSSA bats and bags, hats, shirts etc.
For me I put the Easton Elder ahead of my Boombah Boss, Worth Legit, Monsta Fossil, Reebok Barrage and Mele, and my new Demarini The One EL, the Combat Wanted Full Load is my second best bat. I had a chance to hit the TPS Hyper Z for about 10 cuts and the bat had roughly 75 swings on it and I was impressed with that bat but I was told that the bat didn't see 150 cuts. For us, we can swing what we want because our deal is in fact a buy in program and that's why I have all these other senior bats.

I see that the new GSC bat is not on the SSUSA Approved Bat List.

is it possible to gat a phone number from you on the Easton Elder? One of my hitting partners would like to see if he could work out the same buy-in deal!

Thanks,

Adiktiv6,

I have had lots of people ask about our buy in program. The best way is to locate your local Easton Rep in your state and find out from him/her if that particular program is available.
If it is then you will be able to buy as many Senior/ASA/USSSA bats as you wish at a discounted price along with everything else that Easton sells. Here in MN, our 50 major team was one of only 6 teams in the state to participate in the buy in program.
I would think that would change a bit state to state.
Good luck.
