Ultra 2 Price
Ok all you Bat Gurus. Can someone tell me what the cost of a Ultra2,(used by a 67 y/o player) with no "W" stamped on it might cost? Appears to be in good shape. I bought it but hardly use it. Still using another one I have. I have broken 7 U 2's. When my other one breaks thats it for U 2's. Selling this one before I break it. Will pay for another new bat when I can figure out the best bat to buy. Thanks aheaad of time for any input.

Hey GT,

First, I just found out that Miken will not make any more Ultra 2's.
They're going to replace it with a new model
they say will should be out in January.
Haven't we heard that "should be out , language,
before?
Does it mean the new one will be better or worse
than the old one?
Will it feel as good or worse than the old one?
Will it be a fragile or worse than the old one?
No one knows.

What I do know is that I swung a Combat for Seniors only
in Las Vegas and I like it BETTER than the Ultra 2.
It's feel and weight suit my swing better than the Miken
and it hits within 25 feet of the Ultra 2 on the long ones
which is still plenty for me.
Check out the banner on this website and talk to Kevin
if you want a real alternative to those fragile Ultra 2's.

I'm you mean value instead of cost. Since a no return U2 is $199 now I would guess your's would be worth around $130-$150, depending. Depending on, you know, the condition, how much someone is willing to pay etc. You never know, maybe someone will give you a little more.
I don't know if you can get more because it may have a return. Since it's been quite a while since Miken has sold return U2's it may be tough to return it.

Stoneman, while playing in Vegas in the 55 div I used my 30oz Freak Plus on Saturday. I really think that it out hit my U2. Sunday morning in bp I broke the it though. I did decide to go back to a 30 oz bat though.

Thanks all for the reply. I kind of thought I was in the price range. After I break the one I use I am out of the U2 business. I have the original combat(blue bomb) 28 end loaded. Hardly used it but will soon. Might look into the new ones. Tired of buying a bat that breaks. I hit line drives not home runs. Until I hear Miken makes a bat that doesn't break I am staying away from them. Tired of putting someones kid through college.
Dabigdawg3, I will email you. Thanks all
