| April 9, 2014 SSUSA Staff 3483 posts | LVSSA/SSUSA SOUTHWEST CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014 • TENTATIVE Field Assignments The entry deadline has passed for the 2014 LVSSA/SSUSA Southwest Championships in Las Vegas and entries are now CLOSED ... There are 171 teams entered, which shatters the former tournament record (2013) of 145 teams ... This tournament has now grown into the third largest event on the SSUSA annual schedule (trailing only the World Masters and Rock 'n Reno) ... We have also activated the "Teams Tab" from the tournament event page, listing the teams by age group ... The following are the TENTATIVE Field Assignments for the 2014 event. Please note that TENTATIVE means they are NOT FINAL and are SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Final Field Assignments will be released simultaneous with the publication of the DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets in the next week to 10 days ... NOTE: These tentative assignments are made based on a thorough evaluation of the number of teams entered per division, the total games demand calculations (as impacted by local league restrictions at all venues) and by reference to which facilities the divisions were assigned to for both the Southwest Championships and the World Masters Championships in 2013 ...
