LVSSA/SSUSA SOUTHWEST CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014 • DRAFT Game Schedules & Brackets
DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for SESSION #1 of the 2014 LVSSA/SSUSA Southwest Championships in Las Vegas & Henderson, NV, have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament Page ... As always, these TENTATIVE schedules are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting the evening before play commences ...

NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend the meeting will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters (such as schedule changes, tourney formats and rules issues) discussed at the meeting. Tournament rosters are “frozen” as of the Manager’s Meeting. NO on-site player additions are allowed without Tournament Director approval before team’s first game. Managers who do not attend Manager Meeting, and do not send a representative, will be prohibited from beginning tournament play before check-in with Field Director and are prohibited from roster additions ...

The Master Games & Fields Grid and Participating Teams List have been posted and the Participating Teams Tab on the Tournament Page has been activated ... Good luck to all!

DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for SESSION #2 of the 2014 LVSSA/SSUSA Southwest Championships in Las Vegas & Henderson, NV, have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament Page ... The caveats mentioned above for Session #1 apply here as well ...

NOTES: - The Session #2 schedules conformed with the TENTATIVE Field Assignments, with two exceptions ...
• The Women's 40-Masters Major Division was moved from Lorenzi Park to Big League Dreams because of the team volume at Lorenzi with the Men's 40-Masters Major Division taking virtually all available game slots for the weekend; and
• The Women's 40-Masters AA Division will play the last two games of their Best 2 of 3 Championship Series at Big League Dreams on Sunday instead of at Shadow Rock as originally projected ... This change was due to overall games volume at Shadow Rock on Sunday.

BIG LEAGUE DREAMS SUNDAY • The Josh Stevens Foundation has a pre-existing event known as kINdSOMNIA (see below) booked at Big League Dreams on Sunday morning, April 27th from 1:00 to 6:50 AM ... Access to Big League Dreams will begin at 7:00 AM after the children leave at 6:50 AM ... The games will commence at 7:30, so there will be very limited time for batting practice ... Teams that desire to have a formal team batting practice before the Sunday games are advised to make off-site plans for Sunday ...

"kINdSOMNIA is an all-night event organized by the Josh Stevens Foundation and Central Christian Church that celebrates friends and fun in a way that is specifically designed for middle school kids. After an hour long kindness rally with music, interviews and videos, students and leaders are transported all night by buses to their choice of four different destinations. Some of these destinations may include Adventuredome, Paintball, Big League Dreams Sports Complex, bowling, ice skating, and SkyZone."
