Bill Gore
Does anyone on the board know if the William(Bill) Gore that plays with the Panhandle Hittmen is the same one that played for the Hurburt Field(FT. Walton beach,Fla) Raiders in the early 70's. Saw the name the other day and a lot a great memories came back. John Beard CenTex 65's.

I am sure it is the same Bill Gore because my dad retired from Hurlburt AFB in 74 and he golfed, bowled and played softball against Bill. Great guy and still a great player.

Yes, this is the same Bill Gore. The Hulbert team was a great team, Gore could hit it then and still wears it out.

great bunch of guys, Stump, Hood, Billy, Johnny Moss and Gus, also had a great coach. I pitched for that group for two years before moving to Dover AFB.
