Any news on delays or start times due to weather?

After receiving 4.5 inches of rain overnight, all games scheduled for FRIDAY have been canceled. We fully expect to play ball at both parks on Saturday.

All teams need to have a manager at the host hotel (DoubleTree) at 1pm today. At that time, we will announce the tournament recovery plan.

The weather communication plan was explained to all managers in attendance at the coaches meeting last night. Accordingly, we posted tournament related information on the Loudoun County Parks rain line (703-777-0456) by 6:15am.

ATLANTIC COAST RECOVERY PLAN Revisions for the weekend have been posted to reflect the effects of the Friday cancellation of play due to weather ... The links from the tournament page have been updated for the revisions ...

In divisions that had seeding play Friday, brackets will be filled by blind draw Friday and commence on Saturday ... For divisions that were to begin bracket play on Friday, those games have been rolled over to early Saturday ... The Women's 40-Masters division has been changed from a 5-game to a 4-game guarantee as a result of the weather effects Friday and the withdrawal of the Motown Magic club ... The Men's 60-AA will now play a Three-game-guarantee championship series, and NOT a Best 2 of 3 as originally contemplated ...

Good luck everyone!

Hi, I just looked at the 60 Major bracket and there is a game 4 playing 5 at 930. Team 4 has dropped out. Also team 8 is not listed in bracket play. Thanks Harry

birdie ... Don't confuse the Seed #'s on the bracket with the Team #'s on the front page, they are unrelated ... The reason only seven teams are on the bracket is because only seven teams remain after the Metro Hitmen (NJ) dropped out ... The bracket was to be filled by a blind draw at this afternoon's manager meeting, so your team could be in any of those bracket seed spots ... Good luck!

Dave, Some how I knew that I was wrong when I started to write the reply. Hope to see you and Fran soon. Thanks Harry
