June 4, 2014 Duke Men's 65 908 posts | Southwest Championships Hey Phillip, I was going to add this to your comment, but that thread is now closed. All I was going to say is that SSUSA may have lost some of the bracket boards and that is why you have not seen the scores. If that is the case, they might be trying to reconstruct them from the team managers. That tournament is over 6 weeks ago. Yet Reno results and scores are already posted. Andy Smith, R & R Strokers |
June 4, 2014 Sweet P Men's 60 191 posts | Andy, I sent a reminder to Dave D. and SSUSA reminding them of their promise to update the Southwest Championship results/scores once they completed the draw for Reno. Reno is is now over still waiting!!!! Phillip WC All-stars |

June 7, 2014 Daffster 5 posts | I think it would be prudent for SSUSA to invest in having a spreadsheet developing where results can be entered. They could be used and entered during the day and at least at the end of the day competed for that day. Tournament results would be preserved and available very quickly. I know at the Worlds several years ago with so many teams and rules on tie-breakers for match-ups it took a long time to decide by paper who played who when. With a spreadsheet all the rules are coded and the results would be fast. It seems like a wise investment that would save the directors at each field much time and angst. It would be monies well spent and pay for itself over time and certainly solve such issues. "Just sayin" |
