Huntsman Senior Games HR Rule
Hey guys I just received my 2014 Huntsman Senior Games Handbook and noticed that under FORMAT/RULES it says to visit http://www.seniorgames.net/sports/softball/men/handbook/ for information on their new HR Rule; however, there doesn't seem to be anything noting what the "New Rule" is when you go to this page? Does anyone here know if they are following the SSUSA rule or are they going to continue with the unlimited HRs as in the past?

The fact that they note in the book that there is a "New Rule" would lead one to believe there's been a change...

B94 - When you go to the http://www.seniorgames.net/sports/softball/men/handbook/, web-site you have to download the handbook from there to see the "new HR rules". They are different for round robin and elimination games and for each division.

Here are the New Home Run Rules for this year copied out of the Handbook; It's a nice change from the unlimited HRs in the past.

Homerun Rule:

Pool play games: (all classifications)
•5 runs max per inning per team
•(Unlimited in last declared inning and all extra innings)
•Two Home runs allowed + one-up (Home team in unlimited inning can’t go one-up)
•Additional home run is an out

Bracket Play games:
Major Plus
•5 runs max per inning per team
•(Unlimited in last declared inning and all extra innings)
•Unlimited Home runs allowed
Major
•5 runs max per inning per team
•(Unlimited in last declared inning and all extra innings)
•Seven Home runs allowed + one-up (Home
team in unlimited inning can’t go one-up)
•Additional home run is an out
AAA
•5 runs max per inning per team
•(Unlimited in last declared inning and all extra innings)
•Three Home runs allowed + one-up (Home team in unlimited inning can’t go one-up)
•Additional home run is an out
AA,A,B,C,D
•5 runs max per inning per team
•(Unlimited in last declared inning and all extra innings)
•Straight one-up (Home team in unlimited inning can’t go one-up)
•Additional home run is an out
Once the Maximum run per inning has
been obtained, no additional runs will score as a result of an over-the-fence home run; however, the over-the-fence home run will count in the team’s total.

Hit and Sit rule will be used!
