WITH THE HEAT ARRIVING EARLY SATURDAY MORNING 17 TEXAS TEAMS TOOK ON FOUR GAMES EACH IN A ONE DAY TOURNEY WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE HIGH HEAT INDEX OF 105. THERE WERE BALLS FLYING OVER THE FENCES IN THE 50'S & 55'S DIVISION ALONG WITH LONG BALL'S IN THE 60'S AND 65'S DIVISION. THREE OF THE DIVISION CAME DOWN TO THE LAST GAME IN THEIR BRACKET TO DETERMINE THE WINNER'S. GREAT COMPLETIONS IN EACH DIVISION GREAT DAY TO WATCH SOME GREAT GAMES. LIKE TO WISH ALL TEXAS TEAMS THE BEST OF LUCK IN WORLD SEE YOU NEXT YEAR IN OUR 2015 SHOOT-OUT DAWGS!!! RESULTS: 50'S DIVISION 1ST PLACE S.A. 55'S TOOK 1ST FOLLOWED BY AUSTIN ROCK 50'S TAKEN 2ND 55'S DIVISION TEAM HOUSTON 55'S TOOK 1ST PLACE FOLLOWED BY ROMO'S 50'S TAKEN 2ND. 60'S DIVISION AUSTIN WIZARDS 60'S TOOK 1ST PLACE FOLLOWED BY RELENTLESS 60'S TAKEN 2ND 65'S DIVISION AUSTIN B-LEAGUE 65'S TOOK 1ST PLACE FOLLOWED BY S.A. | Aug. 11, 2014 Capt Kirk 541 posts | Chris, you always put on a good tournament, the Rattlers will be back. Our 65+ bracket had five (5) teams, one team with a 3-1 record, three (3) teams that were 2-2, and one (1) team that was 1-3, the games were competitive and good sportsmanship. Capt Kirk |
