Pick up player rules
Hello, I was playing in a game last night and the other team had to pick up an extra player not on the roster. When he got on he asked for a courtesy runner, and was told no that he could not have one or be one. I have been looking through the rules to find this, is this a rule and were do you find it?

Sounds as if this is a local rule. SSUSA and other senior associations don't allow non-roster players.
