Had about 15 or less on my new big cat 27oz. and the knob came off. Tried a guick fix with super glue but that didn.t work to well. The bat hits great. I have some epoxy glue. but plan on buying the epoxy marine glue at Home Depot. If any one knows any glue that works better than what I'm planning on putting on it. Need Info

Just notice on my 27oz big cat that I have has a 1 inch crack on the end cap. Didn't break off yet. I put a little super glue on it and hoping it will wait until after Dalton before it breaks off. I had some friends of mine had some of the end cap break off. Miken repaired them. I guess the Chinese messed up on this batch of endcaps. I just have to get a receipt to send back to miken for my buddy recieved 4 bats. I got 2 and my other buddy got 2. So for 3 out of 4 end caps crack. I just didn't hit my other 28oz yet.
My end cap did brake a portion off the outer part. Will they disqualify my bat at Dalton for this? Yes, 3M 5200 glue is great.
My 27oz MM Big Cat replacement bat had the end cap shatter so only the inner diameter of the cap remains intact. I wasn't sure if I should swing it in the tourney, but it didn't break off any more after that. I used it in Roseville without any problems and nobody seemed to mind. It looks really bad but the bat performs fine. I was thinking of contacting Miken to see if they will send me another bat.
Also at this tourney, I had my 200 hit Miken white 2 piece knob come off in bp on Friday. Ball went 350, bat went 100 and I was left with only the knob in my hand. WTH? (Bad luck that weekend I guess LOL). Anyways, I used Loctite epoxy 3500 psi with a 5 minute set, left it overnight and it seems to have solved the problem.
During the Western Nationals, I saw 2 Miken bats in game play lose their knobs. Obviously, we have a situation on our hands. As much as I love the Miken performance (I've been a long time Miken guy), I'm thinking of making the switch to the Dudley.

the knob on my Miken big cat came off in my first batting practice session. fortunately I have a player on my team that makes and repairs bats. I was very disappointed, but the bat is unreal when it comes to performance. The first tournament I used it in was in Cincinnati, and I was nominated for the all american award.
animal14 what glue did your friend use and was your bat a 27 oz. you repaired. Great bat. Love the Big Cat.
My 27oz Big Cat has a loose handle at the bottom of the barrel . Any fix on this .
My Miken Ultra II 2 piece bat knob came off earlier this year. I used LOCTITE 414 instant adhesive and that stuff worked great. The knob stayed on and did not come off again. The bat lasted all the way into September until the barrel cracked in Manteca. The adhesive comes in a tiny blue tube. I got mine from a friend who uses it to repair custom home window frames and shutters.
Barrel cracked in Manteca ? Knob flew off my 2 piece Ultra II at BLD also, same weekend my gray Ultra cracked. I did glue the knob back on with J B Weld 2 part marine epoxy, seems good so far. Haven't had great success with Miken' s lasting but I always have to have a couple.

I had a crazy thing happen with the Miken 2 piece this year. Was taking a few cuts before a game and the bat broke in half almost 18" from the handle. The onle thing that kept the top from flying as far as the ball was a few strands of bat. Seen many bats crack ,break, etc, but never halfway up the the bat!.
