| Oct. 5, 2014 twintower Men's 50 21 posts | Cant we all just get along Well said papa T AND I JUST WANT TO MAKE A COUPLE OF THINGS CLEAR FIRST OF ALL I TEXT IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I HAVE POOR EYE SIGHT UP CLOSE AND SECONDLY MY BROTHER JOSE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS POST OR ANY OF THE POSTS CREATED BY ME OZZIE. IT AMAZES ME HOW EAGER PEOPLE ARE TO POINT THE FINGER AT HIM IN A NEGATIVE WAY. I HAVE SAT BACK FOR MANY YEARS AND WATCHED THE SAME TYPE OF UGLY PEOPLE TAKE POT SHOTS AT HIM OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS THAT HE IS A KIND PERSON THAT TREATS EVERYONE AROUND HIM WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT. HE HAS BEEN A PERFECT GENTLEMAN IN EVERY SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT THAT HE HAS EVER PLAYED IN AND HAS ALWAYS GOTTEN ALONG WITH HIS TEAM MATES AS WELL PLAYERS FROM OPPOSING TEAMS. SO BEFORE YOU HAITERS PASS JUDGEMENT ON OTHERS I SUGGEST THAT YOU TAKE A LOOK IN A MIRROR AND ASK YOURSELF WHY DO YOU FEEL THE NEED THE PUT DOWN SOMEONE THAT YOU DONT EVEN KNOW. I JOSE AND I HAD THE PRIVELEGE OF ATTENDING THE 50 PLUS SENIOR SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT IN VEGAS LAST WEEK AND WERE TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY BY THE INCREDIBLY HIGH LEVEL OF PLAY AND THE RESPECT FOR THE GAME.BUT WHAT IMPRESSED US THE MOST WAS HOW KIND EVERYONE WAS TO NOT JUST TO US BUT TO ONE ANOTHER. MY BROTHER AND I HAVE BEEN PLAYING COMPETATIVE SOFTBALL AT ALL LEVELS FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND HAVE COME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT SENIOR SOFTBALL IS TRULY ALL ABOUT TREATING OTHERS WITH RESPECT DIGNITY AND KINDNESS WE HONESTLY CANT THINK OF A BETTER WAY TO RUB ELBOWS WITH PEOPLE THAT LOVE THE GAME OF ROUND BALL AS MUCH AS WE DO. MY BROTHER JOSE AND I ONLY HAVE ONE THING TO ASK OF YOU AND THAT IS THAT YOU TREAT US WITH THE RESPECT AND DIGNITY THAT WE WILL GIVE TO BECAUSE AT THE END WHEN IT HAS BEEN ALL SAID AND DONE WE ALL WIND UP IN THE SAME PLACE AS ONE THANK YOU OZZIE |

| Oct. 5, 2014 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Caps signify yelling..period. Honestly...try using the VIEW at top of the screen, drop down to ZOOM IN tab and increase font size. You can increase the font size so a person that uses a \red\white can\could read them. Doubt you are in such bad shape though. Enjoy Senior ball, it's a hoot. |

THE GUY THAT HIT ME WAS PROLLY UNDER 200Lbs(?), AND I HAVE NO ANIMOSITY TOWARDS HIM AS WE HAVE BATTLED AGAINST EACH OTHER FOR YEARS. | Oct. 5, 2014 Paco13 424 posts | When few people get kill then they will change the bats. Personally I believe that with new ASA and Utrip standards is all what we need. Of course the big power hitters will shave them, but it is better for one or two shave bat that senior bats. My opinion. The game is just one dimension 'offense.'. Mis dos centavos. | Oct. 5, 2014 Sparky.1 Men's 75 284 posts | In complete agreement with your point of view Paco13..........I have said it for a few years now but things in Senior Ball when it comes to the bats, etc. will never change regardless of any injuries and/or deaths...........The "powers to be" are so far "in the bed" with the bat manufactures with BOTH pocketing large amounts of $$$$$$ and as long as we the Seniors are willing to keep shelling out the big $$$$ for Tourneys, Bats, Forced upon Equipment, etc., things will never change!!!!!! |
| Oct. 5, 2014 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Agree on both posts about the bats, however, as long as their making money they will continue until the dust settles should someone get killed. ASA allows senior bats in senior events. Balls vary in them also. |
