| Nov. 11, 2014 steve65 Men's 65 177 posts | Today was Dave Adwells funeral. As I sat there listening and watching everything going on the real spirit and meaning of Senior Softball became quite clear. Names shall always remain a mystery---I watched as grown men that are so tough in every day life had tears running unashamedly for a man we all loved like a brother. Bonds are made playing this game and traveling with our teammates that are stronger than anyone can really imagine. I talked to Dave almost every day year round --I will miss him more than I can imagine at this point. As we get older we all need to take time to appreciate what we have. It will not always be here!!! Dave I for one will miss you -- |
