Why, are u so negitive / rude to EINSTEIN? EINSTEIN, is called EINSTEIN, because Joe, does look like EINSTEIN. All of Joe's, friends call Joe, EINSTEIN. HOW ABOUT it 60 BILL, GET OVER the fact that Joe, does look like EINSTEIN.... 60 BILL, why, is it O.K., for u to be RUDE? Why, should others answer u're questions, when u will not answer questions put to you? 60 BILL, do you play SENIOR BALL? 60 BILL, what State & City, are u from?? 60 BILL, WHO MADE u this webs site ......? 60 BILL, why, are u stating that their are several men on KELLY'S TEAM, that are using ILLEGAL BATS? 60 BILL, why & or who, do u think u are to tell another SENIOR, what to post or what NAME he or she can use?? 60BILL::: u should go to the "OLD SCOUT'S", web site. There one can be as nasty, mean, rude, as one wants or has the needs & or requirements. But, I am sure that u also, will speak up 4 u're friends. Bill, many of these players are about to or have just turn 55. What does, this mean? It means that several of these men will now, be inducted into the SOFTBALL SENIOR Hall of FAME. BILL, if, u new these players, u more than likely, would not make that, for a lack of a better word "FALSE" statement. Mike K, is a busness man. If, he, or any of his players did use an ALTER-ILLEGAL BAT, just what do you think that would do to Mke's business?? Also, many of these men are "real class" individuals. Joe, is a great person. I hope that u 2 can become friends. I also, hope that some day u get to know some of these MEN. If, nothing else, comes from this..... "A MAN CAN BE JUDGE BY THE FRIENDS THAT HE HAS." I 4 one any very lucky that I have freinds in SENIOR BALL, like..... J.C. | Nov. 28, 2006 4x4 Men's 65 601 posts | 60 Bill; I like others have not agreed with Einstein on certain discussions on this board and he has been heavy handed in his replies. But - he is also adding topics for serious discussion that whether we agree or not they are for the good of our sport. I have played against Joe on many occasions and found him to be a stellar competitor on both sides of the ball. He has a fiery disposition and that helps him without doubt when playing. He does carry the same passion on the board and sometimes is wrong in his wording when people take an opposite stand. That being said, you 60 Bill are way out of line with your personal attacks. In checking your posts I find that 22 of the 23 are attacks on that one person with the 23rd a vague reference. Whatever substance of your arguments you had hoped to prove you have lost through your muckraking. It is a tiresome and tawdry approach and really has no place on this board. I tried to spot Einstein in Vegas to chat as he is engaging when not playing but I didn't see him there. If you don't know him stop and talk to him the next time you're in the same complex and you'll probably get along. Just don't introduce yourself as 60 Bill. |

| Dec. 1, 2006 60 Bill 27 posts | Just returned from my 68th. birthday vacation and read everybody's replys to my requests of Einstein (yes or no, etc,etc) it looks like nobody wants to know why he can't say yes or no. I have not played ball in 30 years and based on some of the talk I'm glad I have not, and so are you. I wanted to sponsor a team based on the rules (proposed and maybe) changes as follows. Platooning- 1. Infielders to play defense but not bat. 2. Add 12 additional players to bat but not play defence. They do not have to run because you can use the infielders as runners. 3. Outfielders play defense but not bat, but not used as runners as to save there legs. 4. Pitcher only as pitcher, no running or hitting so to keep his heart rate down so he can pitch. Bats- All bats to be legal so as to avoid the use of altered, etc bats. Fields- 1. All games will be played in parking lots to avoid bad hops etc. 2. Pitchers to pitch from anywhere he wants. Start with 3 and 2 count. Bases to be set at 100 feet so the infielders can see the ball better of the all legal bats. 5. Play with no fences so the outfieldes can play deep for the new bats. Balls - Bring you own. Fees- To be payed by the citys. Thank you all for your time and this could be my last reply from 60 Bill Bill Sixtty N.Y. |

I like some of your rules by the way we have some of those already in place in some tournaments 1 Pitch, Bring your own equipment, Open fileds, bring your own softballs. |

My old coach once told me, 'Son, if you don't like somebody stay the hell away from them'. I have a brother that needs feedback and it doesn't matter to him if it's negative or positive, he just needs it. What he doesn't like or can't stand is to be ignored. We all only have so much mental energy... why waste it? If we try to straighten out every fool we meet, we'll end up with slump shoulders and a flat forehead. Perhaps this is how you got the flat forehead and slump shoulders, Joe. :-) let it go, my good man... it's the season to be jolly and could then apply your abilities to something meaningful. (ha,ha) Thanks for the well intentioned admonition and season's best to you, too. Sometimes I respond to make a point not only to him but for reveryone else to learn and be aware of what's going down. I used to work with disturbed and delinquent adolescents and learned that it's important to let people know, you're on to them, who they are and the nature of their behavior in order for them to "get it". Reckless cowards like Bill, Baterrupp and Badboy don't get a pass with me. |

You mentioned that your fervor for 'smoking people out' is a function of your previous experience. I used to be a carpenter (while going to college) but I don't feel the need to put a nail in every 2 x 4 that I see. I know that you'll ignore my friendly advice as this, too, is part of your life experience. But you are cheating yourself of serenity. You have too much to offer to do this but, like I said, you'll find 'just cause' to discount the value of my feedback. Do not confuse contentment with serenity... they are oceans apart. You remind me of another of my brothers (PhD, MBA) and sometimes you remind me of myself... you deserve better. :-) BW |
