another ratings question
A new 50 AAA team was started this year
Most players are just now 50 or did not play on SSUSA teams last year.

We have (1) 50 major player from last year (now 55)
We have (2) 55 major player from last year

The rest either have never played SSUSA or were not on a roster last year.
If a player was on a 50 major roster 2 years ago, (and did not play for a year on any roster) is he rated major or AAA?

Please help me out,

Thanks

The players with history on 55-Major teams are not a factor for a 50-AAA team (same player history rating index for both divisions = 7). The player with history on a 50-Major would be one of the three allowable (under current roster rules) "out of rating" players. Not playing for a year stops the "statute of limitations" on rating history experience, so he will carry the 50-Major tag this season. As long as the team does not have more than two other players with similar history, they should be fine for 50-AAA. If any additional questions or concerns, please call the Sacramento Home Office and ask for Tiffany or George for a definitive ruling on this individual situation.
