Brickyard
We are just over 6 weeks away from the 2015 Brickyard qualifier in Indy. This is the first senior tournament of the year up here, and we are all getting pretty excited about playing outside because it was a brutally cold winter. I am hoping to see a lot of you there. If you have never been to the Brickyard, you might want to consider adding it to your tournament schedule. It is one of the best attended senior tournaments in the Midwest.

I don't know if there are "a lot" of teams coming this year in all divisions or not? Maybe something else is going on in town the first weekend in May?

I booked our teams motel rooms this weekend and was shocked most are taken already ( the ones listed near the Midwest Sports Complex)

We got ours just in time, but if your team is going you better book rooms ASAP

We had 50 teams last year. Only the "young" boys are playing over the weekend this year to help with expansion. The Mini Marathon is that Saturday but am not aware of any other events in Indy that weekend, but then if it does not involve softball, I am probably clueless. Midwest does have a person that helps them handle rooms if anyone wants any help. Just let me know, and I can hook you up with her.

The Brickyard is only a month away. Hopefully it is on your schedule. This is the 16th year of Coachie's dream for Indy, and it has one of the best turnouts in the Midwest. So be there, or be square.
