Breakaway Bases
Does anyone have experience with these? Installation reasons, usability, benefit. Thanks. Tom Gibans Sidewinder 60s.

Don't go to the trouble, they are a safer on slides but slow the game down a lot. when you slide into a base most of the time you will have to stop the game and make sure you brush the bottom pan off or the base will pop off real easy even on a runner going from 1st to third. Or the other kind with the square pan in the ground every time someone slids you have to stop the game and get the infield dirt out of the bottom pan, so the base will fit down in the female anchor.
