Prayers needed for Jimmy Smith
I copied the follow from the Mohr Board. Many of us know Jimmy, most from competing against him and Clearwater Bonding in the last couple of years.
"Sad to report that fellow board brother Jim Smith of Tampa Florida was discovered on the floor of his home last night. One of his best friends JIT , had been trying to reach him since Wed. and after the police wouldn't enter without a family member present and no key they left. Josh had sent them, and since the car was there and packages on the door step still there, Josh and two other players Chad3434 went over and climbed through a window and found him. He is in very serious condition with a stroke. Jimmy hit with us tuesday and was hitting bombs, we never know. I'll keep you posted. We all need friends like Josh. "
The lates news is that he is on life support.

BRUCE, my prayers are with your amigo, i dont know JIMMY, but anytime one of our own goes down, it reminds us that we are not indestructable. i am 63 yr old, always keep myself very active, racquetball, running, lifting weights, never had high blood or chlor. levels, took a stress test and found 2 veins 90% blocked on my heart, needed 2 stents to fix the problem. that was about 14 months ago. had to do a complete eating habit change to avoid any more blockages. i consider myself very lucky that i had my self checked when i did. i think at our age we really need to check things that dont feel right. they wouldnt go away by ignoring them. again, i hope your friend recovers ,but it will be a very difficult uphill battle. In my original message is was brief. Jimmy played for 50+ Estes Bail Bonds during the last couple of years. He played FHC and some NSA tournaments.
I learned today that a cousin authorized to have his organs donated and they will declare him deceased today.
Very sad news.
