Nicely run tournament. Good fields. Great weather.
only hiccup was ground rules involving ball in ivy, thorns, poison ivy etc along the outfield fence the whole way.
when we started Saturday we were told if lost in 'stuff' put up hands- ground rule double. I am not sure when it changed, but it then became all you can get. Yes we were informed when they went over the ground rules before each game on Sunday that it would be all you can get, but maybe they need to clean out the vegetation to make it playable.

Tournament was well organized and start times went off without a hitch. Fields were excellent and the competition was great! Hats off to the tourny director for having enough staff to display scores each inning, keep the official book, and providing umps that overall did a great job during the many close games. - Would love to know where they got the hot dogs though, they were almost as big around as my Miken!

Tim, curious as to why you don't you use CT Sportsplex on Sat/Sun?

CT Sportsplex is a privately owned facility that offers everything from youth baseball tournaments to birthday parties. Unfortunately, there are cost and availability issues that prevent us from using the park on weekends.

Why not charge a little more per team and give it to them so we can play there?
