Senior Combat not as durable as touted
I recently purchased a senior combat at the nationals in Ft Myers, FL and was told it was very durable(much more than the U2). Within a 2 week span, the end cap flew off into the infield. I only had about 150 swings on it. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed so I called anaconda and left a message describing my problem along with my phone number and email address and asked what my options were. I recieved no response thru email or phone. I emailed customer service about a week later and still no response. I guess anaconda is only interested in the initial sale.

SLUGGER 21:: I have found out that the SENIOR COMBAT, last about 3 times more than tha U-2. In cold weather, it is best to hit 44 cor balls that do have a comp of 400 PSI, or less.

I also, try & not hit any of my good bats more than 15 swings in one 'session'. If, one hits a U-2 , Combat, Anti-virus, Freak Plus, or 585, more than 40 plus times in a roll, that bat will break a lot sooner.

Try not to hit wet balls or any 47 to 50 cor balls on a cold days. One can buy balls w/ a low comp of 250 to 350 PSI.

GOOD LUCK.........ThE STONEMAN

Slugger21: thanks for the info on anaconda. I feel a company is only as good as it's honor and integrity. If a company does not care about it's customers, then no matter how good a price I wont' do business with them.

If they finally do give you satisfaction, please post it as well.

slugger21 I have a 27oz. senior combat that seems to be hanging on pretty well. I broke it in with older dudley balls. When I was sure it felt broke in I stop hitting BP with it. But saying that I don't plan on buying another senior combat if the talk about it don't change for the better. I plan on buying the new Ultra2 when it comes out just in case the combat breaks. I guess I got lucky to get a good combat. I hope you have more luck on your next one and have a Merry Christman to all.

Slugger feel free to call today after 12 est I will be available to talk to you about the bat. The problem with calling into anaconda sports is you need to know who to talk to. We have over 200 employee's and not all of them are involved in the softball business.
