Dec. 17, 2006 audieh Men's 60 249 posts | Can anybody beat Hollis Appraisals in Maui? The Hollis Appraisals team out of the Florida Half Century league (2006 State Champs) is headed to Maui, Hawaii from May 20-28, 2007 to compete in the 4th annual seniors tournament. The team has won 3 out of the last 4 tournaments and is looking for some more competition. Usually there are 2 island teams and last year a very competitive AAA team from California was there and is coming back in 2007. Some of you fellows get together in Chicago, Minneapolis, Vegas, California, etc. and put a team in as we would love the competition. It is the best tournament of the year as the wives always seem to make this one. Check out the Florida Senior Sports Association for more info at www.floridassa.com |

Dec. 21, 2006 audieh Men's 60 249 posts | Gary 19, NO, You missed the point my friend! This was tongue in cheek! A good AAA team could beat the team from Florida. I simply sponsor the entrance fee for the tournament and our team is made up of anyone from Florida that can afford to pay $1,600 for 8 days in Maui. Our players range from 50 to 72 and vary in ability from great to use to be great. My phrase "can anybody beat Hollis Appraisals" was an attention getter basically letting people know there is a tournament there and we have had a great time playing there the last four years. My friends from California understand that the more teams we have the better the tournament. Why don't you come join us? |
