| Sept. 23, 2015 Tri18 352 posts | Release of new Miken Ultra II Black Hi Guys, Light is getting brighter at the end of the tunnel. I've received word that the very first bats from the first batch are being shipped out from Miken starting this week. Miken is going to be shipping as they get finished off of their production line every 4 days or so until orders are caught up. It will be exciting to get some of these bats out to the players across the country so they can put some swings on them and give us feedback. As I've said before...anything good is worth waiting for and this bat is no exception. I'll be in Vegas starting October 1st so I look forward to seeing some of you there.,My team is anxious to experience the granddaddy tournament of them all as this will be the first time my entire team will be there. if you have questions about the new Miken bat feel free to contact me. | Sept. 25, 2015 Number 3 Hitter 11 posts | Alan Need to pickup a new bat for SSUSA and SPA tournaments. Used Miken Freak Black EL team bats this summer up north for UTrip and really liked them. Is this new Black the equivalent in a 1.21? |

| Sept. 26, 2015 ? 121 posts | I was at Lorenzi Park for the World Masters Tournament in Las Vegas this morning. Talked to Rick the Kelly's bat sales rep and learned the Miken Ultra II Black does NOT have a warranty. For some reason I was under the impression it did. |
| Sept. 26, 2015 Lefty Men's 75 721 posts | Got my Big Cat Black 28oz. Alan hit it right on the sweet spot is the hole barrel. My batting avg. will go up at lease 50 pionts with this bat. Put 60 swings on it today and for my swing it's game ready. Thanks for the info Alan. |
| Sept. 27, 2015 Az Iz 66 posts | I don't get it! If the Ultra II Black is just a 2 piece version of original Ultra II Black and costs $30-$40 dollars more. Just buy the Original Miken Black Ultra II..... It is the bat standard that other bats are compared to! |

| Sept. 28, 2015 Tri18 352 posts | AZ, I think you are comparing the new 2 PC U2 Black to the original black one piece version? If so you are correct in the original being the "standard of the industry". Literally thousands of players till prefer it because, it's still darn good! The new U2B is superior in durability and sweet spot and is certainly as lively or slightly more so than the one piece. But....to some players durability is not and issue. To some players they LOVE the one pice balanced feel and have been using it for many years with success. That gets us back to....use the one that feels good in your hands. The new U2B 2 PC comes in a variety of weights and configurations that should fit most players needs and is certainly a worthy choice. My team peeled the wrapper off them this weekend, took a few bp swings, and used them during the entire weekend with all my players enjoying their great feel and performance. I spoke with him earlier today to discuss purchasing a new Miken Ultra II Black Maxload senior softball bat. My office is located somewhat close to his residence. Nevertheless, within 20 minutes of speaking to him on the phone, I had a new Miken Ultra II Black Maxload senior softball bat in my possession. After swinging his prototype version of this bat, I was extremely impressed with its durability, the ease of swing, the feedback and the distance the balls were consistently traveling. Thanks for letting me swing the prototype version of this bat and thanks again for the excellent customer service. |

| Sept. 28, 2015 Whitey58 28 posts | I just got back from hitting the new Miken Ultra ll Black Maxload and Miken Ultra ll Black Balanced. These are a very comfortable bats to swing and we were hitting 320' plus with each bat and we only have 75 hits on them. I am a endloaded guy but this New balanced Miken is real nice.I also want to thank Alan Tanner for his great customer service and being a great guy for getting these bats to California so fast. |
