| Oct. 1, 2015 Bubble Gum 122 posts | What About The Miken Freak Black Senior? I'm interested in the Miken Freak Black Senior with warranty.... How does it compare to Miken Big Cat & Ultra II 2 piece? Does anybody out there have any info or experience with this bat? Thanks |
| Oct. 1, 2015 DOERBAUM Men's 55 86 posts | Have had all of them and I would get the new 2016 big cat over any of the mentioned bats. Last years big cat took about 50 swings to blow up. Freak senior took just under 100 to go by by. It was replaced promptly by miken and promptly sold to help buy a Dudley ( love them) Got about 800 swings out of the Dudley before it blew and have 3 more in reserve. The new Mikens are showing good longevity and pop. My next bat will be one of the new Mikens just to compare it to the Dudleys. Any bat that can take 2000+ cuts from At18 has got to be durable. Saw a couple of them out in Vegas last weekend and they seemed to have good pop as well. Hope this helps. |
| Oct. 2, 2015 Bubble Gum 122 posts | Thanks for the reply. I have noticed that there seems to be much more interest in the Big Cat or Ultra II 2 piece than there is in the Freak Black, even though the Black has a warranty and can be bought online for less than $200. |

| Oct. 3, 2015 Bubble Gum 122 posts | Your telling me the Freak Black preforms every bit as well as the Big Cat & UII and has a 1 year warranty and can be bought at a lower price? I have seen where they are now selling for less then $180. It just seems too good of a deal to be for real.. |

| Oct. 7, 2015 crusher Men's 75 524 posts | Steve, the Freak Black is USSSA approved. The freak is a good bat. It does not perform as good (IMO) as the Ultra II. One league I play in (no age limits) only a USSSA bat can be used. Almost all players use one bat over and over,yeah, it is a Miken Freak. It will just not break but the distance is about 30 to 40 feet less than the Ultras. C |
