hemi, you're right. 14 is a lot of games. I've played 9 before in the winners bracket. I think Chicago Prime played 13 or 14 in 55 AAA in vegas. They played at least 5 games on sunday. So it does happen.
Didn't mean to take anything away from the MTC guys. 14 is a full weekend.

Agreed, 14 is a lot. Our 60 major team played 12 (I believe) this year. I'll verify that when staff posts the completed brackets.

Tim ... A quick look at the past few years seems to support that 14 games may be a "record" ... MTC was 2-0 in Seeding, 5-1 in Friday/Saturday bracket play, and 5-1 on Sunday ... The most remarkable feat may have been winning 10 in a row over two days in the Elimination Bracket after the opening round 1-run loss ... Well done!

This year's 50-AAA Champion, P.D.C. (MI) played 13 ... They were 1-1 in Seeding, 3-1 in Friday/Saturday bracket play (lost their last one Saturday evening), then ran the table at 7-0 (consecutively from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM "if game") on Sunday to double-dip the KC Naturals for the title ...

Benji,

We're all Ears awaiting your Opinion ! ! !

14 is a Good Run, but "All for Not" comes to mind if you don't Win the Championship ! ! !

I Tip my Hat to the Minnesota Merchants for Playing & Finishing in 3rd Place two Consecutive Weekends in 55 & 50 Major Plus ! ! !

Congrats to Minnesota Merchants for finishing third in a very tough 50 Major Plus and 55 Major Plus division but it what wasn't the exact same team that played 55's the weekend before. Having a few 50 year olds guys mixed in with some 55 year old guys is not the same as a complete roster of 55 year old guys. Please give me 5 years back.

Jeff, Benji and I are in "time out" when it comes to head to head match ups..sorry

Congrats to you guys coming in second at 50 Plus..I am sure it's kinda like how we feel..bitter sweet....

Anyway...it was great to be part of so many games decided by less then five runs...heck...we just as easily could have lost more then half them.

How about you AZ elite guys jump into the 55 Plus world next year...the more teams the better....it sounds like most of the northwest legends are returning with a 55+ team...I see your signature 55/55M+...does that make it official???

You & Benji should have your own Daily Section on AARP ! ! !

Second Place to me has always been First Last Place . . . I Don't Care for it ! ! !

No Doubt there were many Good Games Played. Y'all Definitely got your Money's Worth ! ! !

AZ Elite was supposed to Play 55M+ World, but our Roster fell short due to previous commitments and injuries . . .
