Off season training
OK, all of us in the greater Chicago are now in preseason conditioning for the next five months.

I have a good handle on a large variety of weight and cardio exercises.

However, do any of you have 2 or 3 specific "upper body" weight training exercises that you have found to really aid in your ability to hit a ball with power.

I am now bumping 72 and trying to hang on to what I got or maybe even defy nature and build more strength/power.

No matter how fast you can run, don't forget working on some speed work which includes squats and flexibility in order to get your knees higher while sprinting.

Gary, we spoke of your reasons for not remaining in Florida following the Winter Nationals, but a few "arm curls" at the ole' El Tenampa" following a session at The WHC might help. LOL
