Our Trip From Colorado to Winter Worlds and on to Florida
Just a few notes regarding our winter trip from snowy Colorado to Florida via Winter Worlds in Phoenix.

We drove from Telluride last Sunday and barely escaped 30 inches of snow. Got to Phoenix and played in WW with High Desert Roadrunners 65M. Would like to congratulate Cen-Tex on their 1st place win. We just couldn't stop your offense but had fun trying. Also enjoyed seeing our pals with Scrap Iron Phiten and Arizona Ancients. We had two great games with CA Marauders and Animals. Hope you guys made it home safely and see you down the road.

After the tournament, my wife and I packed the truck and headed east toward Florida. Weather was really nice through mid Texas. Today we drove through strong winds but nice weather. Made it as far as Lake Charles, Louisiana. Tomorrow will try to get down to LA. coast to maybe see some redfish guides. Plan to get to Central Florida (Ocala) Monday. Hope to play some Florida Half Century.

Thanking the tournament Director, Tim, all the umpires, SSUSA staff for their hard work at Winter Worlds.

We left Phoenix last Friday driving to Ocale, FLA. Weather in AZ/NM & NW Texas was beautiful. Strong winds started in Van Horn, TX and blew all the way through San Antonio, Houston and into St. Charles, Louisiana. Weather and winds got better on into Florida.

Made it to Ocala Monday afternoon. Unpacked the truck and getting ready for Thanksgiving. Still a little lost being away from Colorado but will adjust. Going to do maintenance, some fishing and hopefully some surfing back here. Will be looking for a 60's/65's team in the area.

Wishing a great Thanksgiving to all.

Ed, you are too old to surf! Happy Thanksgiving.
