Apology to SSUSA
First of all I'd like to apologize to SSUSA for stirring up the pot with my post.
I see that it was removed. I was just curious and asked a question. I didn't intend
to get this message board all in a huff. Anyway, I just wanted to tell everyone to
have a happy and safe Thanksgiving with your family and friends.

Gonz,
I am not speaking for SSUSA, just as someone who has seen thousands of posts over the past decade.
It wouldn't matter what thread you instigated, there are just some folks who need to be heard... over and over.
I'd be surprised if your motive was anything other than curiosity (as you stated). The current air is full of controversy, hence the large number of anonymous viewers.

16wood,
thank you for the response, I guess being in Hawaii we don't have the big sponsor(s) like they would have in the mainland. Yes, I was just curious. that is why I asked the question. I don't think that we have that here. At least that I know. I could be wrong.

most of the money is in the major plus divisions not likely to be in the lower classes.not many of the ole players left from the open days, howard furniture, steels, houston smyth, little ceazars(Detroit),cincinnatti sud's,etc.

Sherwin,
Great to see another Local Bruddah on this site posting! Been on this site for a few years now n I agree with previous post, it seems to be a real emotional time. Anyways there are no sponsors footing the bill for Tropical players n that just fine by me. Those who get sponsered are bless, but we all get to play this great game we enjoy! Have a bless Thanksgiving everyone...what a great country we live in! Aloha, Fabe

Fabe Gonz,

I had some friends from the Islands that played D and C ball that were sponsored ball Island Snow my good friend owned the company and took very good care of his team. Just saying most sponsors are just good people that enjoy softball and friends. JMHO

Wow haven't heard that Island Snow name in years! Being sponsored n being paid for services rendered I think iare two different subjects. Not bothered at all with either....heck if someone offered to pay me I would have to consider it! ;) Aloha, Fabe
