Don't understand why at least January Feburary and march should not already be posted for teams to make travel plans for potential airfare. I know that it's holiday time but no disrespect to anyone but the effort should be to post this stuff immediately. Thanks. |
| Nov. 29, 2015 17Black Men's 60 414 posts | I am also interested. I find this holiday weekend a great time to be making plans for 2016. We try to make (and have) a couple or more SSUSA Tournaments a year between Michigan/Indiana/Ohio and Florida. I was printing schedules this morning & several rival associations have their schedules up for 2016 already. We have a team meeting to go over 2016 plans in January so working guys can plan their vacation day schedules around tournaments. I appreciate our guys burning their vacation time to be hundreds of miles away on Fridays which often means taking Thursday and Mondays off work too. We spend over $20K a year as sponsors for entry fees, motels, uniforms and more---------& and we only play about 6/7 tourneys a year over a six month period. We want to do some different stuff this year, try new events, new cities but I need to present a SSUSA schedule with the others. | Nov. 30, 2015 Jawood Men's 50 943 posts | They usually get the majority of the "bigger" tournament dates out after the convention so I'm sure we will be seeing something soon. |
| Nov. 30, 2015 kstod 9 posts | Again I understand the convention but the biggest issue for out of State Teams is travel accommodations , time away from work and lots of Team preparation. The Jan-Feb and march schedules should be out NO LATER than December 1. That would at least save players mucho dollars on purchasing the 30 day early ticket. Our board should make that a top priority every year. |
