2007 SPA AA and AAA Nationals new location
Hi too all, I recieved a note from Layla and Ridge that the location of the 2007 SPA Nationals AA and AAA divisions will be held this year on Sept 6th to the 9th and it will be held at Dalton Ga. I was told this is only a 2 year old complex of 10 diamonds all in one location. They have told me they have not decided where the Majors and Major -plus will be playing.it will be annouced very soon, more info later Rabbit, coach of the Indiana Classics,

So much for the "central location to draw teams from everywhere" idea.

It's no more convienient than having the SSUSA in Seattle or Phoenix. I like the idea of rotating the SPA and SSUSA Worlds around the country. I know their are some nice complexs in GA. I hope some of the west coast teams make the trip.

Yeah, just like the east coast teams showed up in Seattle. If the associations continue to hold their national tournaments on the far sides of the country, then they will continue to end up with a regional turnout, not a true NATIONAL tournament. I thought SPA was trying to be sensible about where to hold their nationals. Plano was at least in the middle, east to west wise, with a good air hub. Now they do this. Having it in Seattle was ridiculous. This is just as bad.

I have enjoyed Phoenix, Seatlle, Las Vegas and anywhere in Florida. Dallas is a central location and SPA has been there for a while. Georgia may not be centrally located but flights to Atlanta are the cheapest in the country because its the largest world wide airline hub. Burlington, Hutchison, Palm Springs, Des Moines, Boaz, Cullman, Gadsden, Rock Hill and places like that dont make sense. I for one hope major plus is also in Georgia.

I totally agree with Jim. It will be cheaper to fly into Atlanta than the other places he mentioned. Also, Plano in the summer is unbearable!

Hi too all, it has been already posted ,but wanted to make it clear, that the AA and AAA will be played in Dalton Georgia, Sept 6-9th and now SPA has posted the site for the Majors and Major Plus , and it will be at Kansas City, Mo. on July 13-15, now everyone has a complete schedule for all tourneys.
now if we only could get more teams to each tourney???, I know the Indiana Classics, will be at in May- Indianapolis,(SSWC) ,in June Columbus,Ind.(SPA) also in June, possibly in Cleveland, Ohio,in July, Champiagn,. ILL, Miidwest Championships,(SSWC), also in JUly, NSA Worlds, Boaz, AL, in August, Eastern Nationals, in Elgin, Ill (SSWC) in Sept, SPA Nationals in Dalton, Georgeia, also in Sept, we will be coming to Las Vegas for the first time in the LVSSA world tourney, and in Oct we will be going to the SPA Winter Worlds, probably in Florida, plus we play in about 3 young guys tourneys through out the year, not to mention we also play in young guys city league in the summer and fall , it is a nice scheule of about 80 games, please visit our new website Indianaclassics.4t.com
Thanks and hope to see a lot of new faces at the tourneys this year, Rabbit, coach of Indiana Classics 50 AAA
