Winter
Yesterday during our 8:30 a.m. league game, it was delayed by 10 minutes due to frost on the outfield grass. Winters in Phoenix are brutal. Happy New Year.

c'mon Dave-we are still cleaning up from 4 inches of snow in Albuquerque (Making 14 inches already this year) and it has not been up to 40 here all week. Roswell got 20 inches of snow with 60 mph winds for a day and has 10 foot drifts all over. Quit crying! LOL

Dbax, I feel your pain. In our league play this morning, batting practice was delayed and we started 15 minutes late. Although it wasn't frost on our artificial grass, the grass was crunchy from the earlier frost and it made a crunchy sound when you stepped on it, so it spooked a lot of the guys who kind of went and sat in their warm cars for awhile. Such are the struggles of we who live in California in the winter.

LOL, normally I am the one complaining here. What an about face :)

Here in Northeast Ohio, where the snow Webbie25 speaks of in Roswell, is what we get about 15 times a year, is nonexistent so far.

Temps were pushing 70 on Christmas Eve. The only measurable snow we did get, melted in about 36 hours.

The guy who plows my driveway will have typically already been here 10-15 times already, and today on the 1st day of 2016 its ZERO times this season.

Did you guys see for the first time ever in December, the North Pole went above freezing the other day, a few days after its snowing at the Sun Bowl in El Paso.

Dave, Web, Omar & Fabe, Last Thursday air temp in Daytona was 89, water temp was 73, waves were 3-4 and shoulder high. Been playing in Ocala, FLA and haven't been able to find any snow around here yet. Gonna play FHC this week-end and try out that organization.

Take care boys!
