Glad to see your still doing the tournament. I always loved to go play at those fields. For some reason the ball flys for good distance. Hopefully we'll end up playing at your tourney.

Steve, looking forward to playing in your tournament again. Why the change to 5 and an out? Has always been 5 and a single.

You are right, Vance! It will be singles. I will just blame it on short-term memory loss!!

Strykers 60's disbanded after Dalton; We went to Pensacola as a 65 team, however, due to a number of circumstances, I decided not to continue the Strykers team.

Hey Steve, The Montgomery Swarm are actually playing in the 55 division this year. Moving on up. The Southern Hurricanes disbanded after Pensacola as well. Not sure if someone else might be using the name.

Thanks, Vance. Just had not reviewed rosters lately. The 50/55 teams may have to play in the same RR anyway. Hoping to secure more however. Still plenty of time.

Did not know until last night that Hurricanes were no more. Gil called and let me know. Southern States is a combo of Hurricanes and Bama Old Guys, right?

VERY IMPORTANT: Montgomery has changed the date and moved it a week later. As a result, I am trying to re-schedule the one day to March 5, instead of Feb 27. Should know in a couple of days. Please let me know if this is better for everyone and new teams, please let me hear from you!

L: the Huntsville team is merely a league team wanting some practice.

Steve it will be unusual not to see you at tournaments this year since your team folded. Always good to see you and talk with you. I knew that this tournament always helped sponsor your team so hope that you can work out something.

Hello Steve, am sure glad I read this post. Had not noticed the date change for Montgomery until I read it here. Please add Bluegrass Softball to your tourney. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this year for you. We play 50 still so try and pull em in! lol My # is 270-519-0173 if needed.
