Bat speed/swing analyzer
Wouldn't it be interesting if softball had the same statistical data in swing analysis that golfers get...what I mean is, I have learned my swing speed, ball speed, angle of attack, back spin, side spin, top spin, maximum height, carry etc.....it seems so easy that golfers get to really analyze all their numbers and pick a club that suits their game, while softball players pretty much trial and error and whatever seems the best gets used......I know hitting a resting ball is way different than a moving target but I know there are machines to at least get spins and speeds and angles etc...in fact I see it during every baseball game when they measure home runs etc....has anybody come across any technology yet for softball players

Something like the Zepp sensor iprovides much of what you are looking for.
Relatively inexpensive , easy to operate with good interface.
I'm sure there are others, but this one works well.

I have a Swing Speed Radar. It is advertised to be useful for golf, baseball and softball.
The problem I have is it doesn't measure bat speed after contact with the ball.
It is interesting to see the different bat speeds generated with different bats.
