PRAYER REQUEST
Most players in the south and the players that play in the Worlds and Nationals know Bob Falkins. He has played last year for Kayson's Grill of Atlanta before that Old South , JAH Masters , one of the best Shortstop at any level of play and one of the person I personally have ever meet. I hope Bob has a full recovery and never miss one game. Bob looks at this board so I everyone drop a note on this board and tells Bob that prayers are with him.

I was just getting ready to post a message about Bob. Don could not catagorize Bob any beter than he did. There are not many people like him and it is a pleasure to be able to call him a good freind. He is very sick but his attitude is very positive. Please drop him a line or at the very least say a prayer for Bob and his wife Joyce. Both are great folks.

I am greatly sadden by this news and I will keep Bob and his family in my prayers. The two earlier post said it all, I know Bob through softball and he is a first class fellow. The power of prayer is amazing so I will be looking for him to have a speedy recovery. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Get well man! I don't know the nature of your illness, but you are one player who all players should model their game after. You play hard and very well. You probably don't know me by name (Mid-South Travelers -2B), but you are one of the few players whose name I learned by playing against you. I'm a believer in prayer and I pray that I'll see you on the field performing at your usual high level.

I have not had the opportunity to meet Bob but just reading the letter from Steve it tells me that he knows Jesus Christ personally, That tells me that he isa genuinely a very good man. Bob I am a christian myself and you may have cancer but you also have something that a lot of people need and you can be a witness to many. My wife and I do have you in our prayers. God Bless You

I have known Bob for a few years and enjoyed playing ball with him during that time. There are many people that act like Christians until they get on the ball field, however, Bob always showed respect and a gentleman on the field. My Bible tells me that we will know them (Christians) "by their fruits." (Actions) Our family will be praying for Bob and Joyce. As we pray, we know our GOD can do anything, therefore, we know what the doctor has said, "who's report will you beleive?" As for our house we will beleive in the report of the LORD. I have played with Bob on two teams, Sidelines and Kaysons. I consider it an honor to be allowed to play at this level. Playing with Bob transends that honor many times over. His level of play has allways inspired me to play better. His friendship and devotion has been cherished by many. My hopes and wishes are to play beside him for many seasons to come. I will raise my glass to you Bob and your lovely wife Joyce with the hope of a full recovery.

I, too, have known and played with Bob and I will keep them in my prayers as well. I am sure that the competitor Bob is that he will be back making plays on the field in short order. Stay strong Bob and Joyce.

B-O-B Bob; as he has been known for a few years. Have played with Bob for a long time; he would call me many times to meet him for practice. I will always remember the cones that he placed everywhere on the infield & his pitcher's screen made out of fencing; good idea & it worked.
We have had to carry him off of the field many times from giving 110% & exhausting himself to the point that he could go no more, but with his special remedy, a jar of dill pickles w/thejuice, Joyce had him up & going in no time.
No mountain that we cannot climb if we have the hand of the Lord at our back & his love in our hearts.
Bob will be renewed when he reads all of these words & we are praying for a speedy recovery.
Bob was highly instrumental in the success of the JAH Masters 03/04 team. Thanks

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto your own understanding". I've played with Bob and against him. I learned early on to hit where he isn't. I also learned what a great guy he is. Prayer is powerful and I am joining this "Prayer Team". Jesus loves you and so do we. Love, Jackson Williams

I had the honor of playing with Bob for the first time last year. He was much better than advertised. Bob is a great softball player but an even better man! The only problem we had with Bob last year was trying to figure out how he could play left-center and short-stop at the same time. This year I have the honor of coaching the Kayson's Grille team with Bob. I know what a competitor Bob is and I have no doubt that Bob will be back to help me make that first line-up in March. Here is a prayer that I would like to leave for Bob and Joyce. PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU: NOT AS THE WORLD GIVETH, GIVE I UNTO YOU. LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED NEITHER LET IT BE AFRAID. JOHN 14:27

I spent only 2 days with Bob last year at the Classic Spring Training but it did not take long to know him. I was proud to have had the opportunity to share time with him on the fields and off.

He got out west last summer with Joyce and nearly made it to Colorado to visit with the new RV but unfortunately ran out of time.

Robin and I are praying for for you Bob and pray that God will pull you and your family through this time. If for some reason he wants to take you home, I'll se you there later.
