OKRA FOR POSSIBLE DROP IN GLUCOSE/SUGAR LEVELS FOR DIABETICS ?
Have you guys ever hear of this ? IT will not cure diabetes " but " may lower your levels .

Article says you cut off the ends of the okra, cut into the side, drop 2-3 pcs into a glass of water,
let it sit overnite, and drink the slimy concoction first thing in the morning..

Anybody try this ??

Worth a shot, okra is cheap..

according to a blood test i had done, i am told i am pre diabtic, so , i am going to try it, in addition to change my diet and back into the gym and lose a few lbs...

any input would be appreciated, there are posting on the web about this stuff.

SNOPES says it might be helpful..

i really need to find out if anybody had any success with this.

thanks !

Frank,

You try it out for 30 days and tell us it how goes.

No mas Cerveza!

Are you still playing with the Legends on Monday nights? That'll be the only time I'll see ya.

The A Division Bandits moved down to the B Division. Arlington disbanded. Only four teams now. That fourth seed is all y'all's!

You'll need to stick with your Okra for at least 3 months if you want to know if it really works.
The glucose levels only tell you what your blood sugar levels are at the time of your test.
Your A1C number shows what your levels have averaged over the last 3 months and is the primary indicator of whether you're diabetic, pre-diabetic or whatever.
Good luck.

armiho211 my wife was pre-diabetic as well, had high blood pressure and was over weight. Her Dr. told her that if she did not do something that he was putting her in insilin. About this same time she had been contacted by a friend about a health and wellness company called Plexus. She said that these products would help with all these symtoms my wife had. And low and behold 90 days later after being on these products she lost 45lbs her blood sugar level was normal and she no longer has high blood pressure. I can give you more info if okra does not work for you.
Feel free to call me if interested

The best advice I can give you is to cut out all the sugar from your diet that's possible. The main cause of weight gain and type 2 diabetes is sugar consumption. Not just sugars but carbohydrates as well. When your body metabolizes carbs it turns them to sugar.

In the end it comes down to hard work maintaining a good exercise program and diet. There is no easy way.

I saw you last Wednesday, Frank. You were a picture of health......jk

Proper diet and exercise are the best way. The okra "slime" might have something in it that helps Don't know. There is a drink called Glucerna that helps with diabetic diets also.

My big problem over the last couple years is a condition called gastroparesis. Might have to have some stomach surgery to correct the problem.

Take care, Amigo!

Besides helping with what my wife had these products are helping my cousin in Mo. who has crones disease. She normally takes 1 shot of Humira a week, but since whe been on these products, 14 days now she has not had to give herself a shot. Another friend of mine was having stress headaches everyday at work, now taking the products for 2 weeks no more headaches. Anothe friend of mine in Florida was taking sleeping pills just to go to sleep, now she can sleep all night with any drugs. This stuff works!!! Call me for more info 317-670-0257.

Mario, 2 of the 3 main ingredients to the Slim Bio-cleanse are ascorbic acid and whole fruit bioflavonoid complex. Do you have knowledge of any person with acid reflux taking the supplement? More so, have the supplements enhanced the AR symptoms? I realize this may be a ? for my med pro, but I wanted to reach out to you first.

XLR8 don't know of anyone having any issues with any of these products. Don't know personally anyone with AR that has tried them.
