Feb. 18, 2016 krmissle 1 posts | How do we get bat manufactures to still make bats for asa and harder balls With the new ball (SOME ASA) leagues are adopting. That's leaving the rest of us to scramble for the better bats made before 2016. Even worse our Eastern bats now deemed illegal, this sucks. I have found a few on the net but the price has increased to 4 to 5 hundred dollars for a good bat. Our senior league is going down to the 44 375 this year, but its a general concensus we will not woosie out to the 52 300 |

It's our league so we have bylaws aside from ASA in that we can use u-trip bats if we wish. I don't know what ball you were using but I'd be doing handsprings if we could use a 44/375. That new Combat all associations bat being made for Kelly Sports looks promising. |

Some leagues still use the 44/375 and they are hard on the new ASA bats. An all association bat will have better durability with those balls. IMO find a 2014 or 2015 Easton or a Combat Derby Boys or 275, all can be had for under $100 with warranty. |
