50 or 55 mens
I am looking for an evening softball league in southeastern Michigan. I live in Pontiac and work in Sterling Heights. I will be 55 in 2016. Good power, good speed, good glove and maybe a good arm. I have not played senior ball so I have no way to compare myself to other players. All I want is a tryout. I should be able to help most teams. My former coach moved to Lansing because of work reasons. I have been playing in non senior leagues. Thank you

Warren Parks & Rec has a 50+ league that plays on Monday evenings at Halmich Park (13 mile rd between Ryan & Dequindre). A good mix of recreation and tournament players and senior bats are legal. Contact Warren Parks & Rec for further information. Leave your email address or phone number and a manager from a team will probably contact you.

Thanks OZ40. In 2015 they did not play at Halmich. I was at the park on senior ball night and the worker said they were playing down on 8 or nine mile. I'm not sure which mile road he said.

Actually, that is how that league plays every year. The league starts at Halmich then when Little League starts up the senior league shifts over to Weigand park (near Toepher and Van Dyke). When Little League ends, the Seniors go back to Halmich for the final weeks and the playoffs.
