Peoria, AZ Sidewinder's Tourney
Just wanted to point out that this last weekend's Sidewinder Tourney, that took place at Rio Vista Park in Peoria, AZ was quite possibly the best tourney I have taken part in over the past 18 months.
TOC was good, Hemet, CA nice and in St. George, UT the fields were tremendous but ........
This park is spectacular, the grounds were clean and fields in great shape. Water bottles were supplied to the players in the dugout, umpires professional and it was a great event. The fields were also cleaned up between games.
WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE BEST TOURNEY IN THIS AREA.
I will push that our team play in the event every year and start skipping the "other guy" the weekend prior.
I can honestly say to those teams who did not play, you missed out.
Thank you Sidewinder's.

I also agree it was great! And it was nice to have the 88 degree weather. Got home and it is snowing in NM today. Yuckk! Nothing worse that a cold sunburn.

Agreed, only wish more 50's team would have participated.
They should have more than 1 tourney a year.

I agree with that completely.
The "other guy" had quite a few 50s the weekend prior, maybe this will get the message out on which tourney is better.
Maybe, just maybe, the Sidewinder's (or some other highly organized softball club) will start putting together more professional tourneys around this great state.
Just a wild thought.

Any tournament is better than that other guys!
