Looking for Women 50+ to play tourneys in the West
Greetings,
Most of our team is based in Oregon but we are interested in identifying senior women (50+) who want to play softball from late May through mid-October We typically plan to play 4-6 tournaments per season in Oregon, Nevada, Utah though we've considered tourneys in WA, CA, and AZ. We are looking for outfielders and infielders.

I'm interested in hearing more about your team. I live in Las Vegas, but am interested in hearing more about your team. I mostly play the infield, but have done a little of everything, including a little pitching. Is there a person I can contact directly?

Hello:
Was so excited to see this post - I will be 52 in August, previously have been registered for senior softball but never really got on a team so right now I'm expired, but will happily renew if I can play.

I am a strong hitter, play a good first base, like to catch, can play a decent 2nd base. Team player, just want to get back into playing tournaments. Very reliable...if I say I'm going to be somewhere I will. Ready to travel, ready to play. Please contact me, thanks.

Was recently coaxed out of retirement to play on our women's office team and was reminded how much I loved to play. At 58, I would prefer to play with women my age, but that isn't an option around here (central coast California).
In my day I was lead-off hitter and starting shortstop for almost 20 years, playing on a decent C division tournament team. However, my shoulder is too far out of shape (or gone) to make a throw from shortstop to first. Second base would probably be best bet, but I've also played 1st base in Co-Ed, because I was able to handle the throws from men.
I'm not a big gal (5'4", 145 lbs), so I'm not a power hitter, but can still make decent contact.
Not sure if I can be of any use to anyone, but if you're looking for someone in California, I'm willing to give it a try!
