Sunglasses for Softball
There have been several posts concerning good sunglasses for softball recently. Being the gear geek that I am and also happening to like all types of sunglasses including expensive ones....here is some exiciting stuff for you. For many years I was fortunate to be sponsored by a major brand of expensive, high quality sunglasses. Not everyone can afford to pay $160-$200 for a pair of glasses so I decided to start developing my own line of glasses. So.....a year later here is my shameless plug for my new sport glasses that are protective, good looking, fog resistant, have optics that rival $200 glasses and come with FIVE yes 5 different lenses for ANY LIGHT CONDITION and are under $50. 00. If you need more information about them feel free to get in touch with me.

I bought a pair. I like them. They also come in a convenient carrying case to stuff in your bag. Can't beat the price for what you get.

The frames can be tricky so be careful.

Wayne,
Thanks for pointing this out. There is a small release pin on the left temple.,before using it put a small drop of dish soap on it to help loosen the release. Once you do that they are a little easier to move in and out to change lenses. Yes JR, I can hook you up. You can view a short review on the bat section of the message board.

Hemi and Swing,
Glad you like the glasses! My wife makes fun of me because I have a different pair for every occasion! Oh well, I just like sunglasses. Some guys like watches, some guys like shoes, and then there is me. So.....why not make a great quality pair with five different lenses to meet every light condition or every little whim? Lol! I'm still a kid at heart but I like nice things and every bit as important is dollar for value which is why I created these. I think anyone who buys them will agree they are well worth the money and....they happen to look good too! 😎

Alan,

I can get the lenses to start to pop out, but the rest of the lense appears to stuck in the frame. Where do I go from there?

Yes so if you don't make false claims you don't offend anyone, that's easy. As for my new ball that other associations use, hell that is old technology. Yes they hit great just like the multi layer balls I made many years ago but better. They don't knuckle and drift like the balls used in Vegas and still hit just as well.

My new ball is the NX3 way better than any technology on the market anywhere.....

Wait til the multi layer NX3 is out.

Here's why I never lie. Half the time I can't remember the truth.......

Kevin,
No false claims by me were ever made. Please see my response to your duplicate post in the bats section. Apparently, you have misunderstood something but as always, feel free to call me anytime.
TC4, I am not the best at keeping my website updated. I would much rather be out on the field taking bp, teaching someone, or testing some new equipment. Sorry about that! Send me an email and I'll send you photos and descriptions, etc.....I need to respect the rules of the SSUSA website and policies. This is their board and I appreciate them letting me post general information.
Feel free to call or email me.

Alan,

I got them to release. Just had to work a little bit with the nose piece to make the lens pop. I didn't want to risk breaking them.

Had a great time in Florida. Just wish I hadn't been hurting so bad with my back and knee. Guess that's what driving 20 hours will do you. Next time I won't stand up for an hour before we start. That plays havoc with me too.

I'm going to do some rehab sessions on my shoulder to strengthen it back up. Too much abuse from working at the post office took its toll. Had it cleaned out 10 years ago. A little cortisone from time to time usually helps.

Hopefully, I will attend some other time and will be more familiar with where I'm going and ways to get there. I will remember to put sunscreen on my face next also.

Your staff was great and the weather was wonderful.

To anybody interested, this was nice little softball vacation getaway.

Wayne,
Glad you worked them out! The nosepiece has to be pulled down as it also connects the lens to the frame for added integrity. Once you do it once, it's pretty easy to do . I'm glad you got to come to our senior Spring training camp in Vero. It was great meeting you and having you around. Hopefully your health issues will ease and you will be able to play without pain! We are all getting older! 😂

Thanks for all the calls guys. I'm out of all black and camo and have them being made now. I still have ten other frame colors to choose from right now.
Get with me with any questions.
