2-Piece vs 1-Piece
Are there any absolute pros (or cons) for a 2-piece bat vs a 1-piece bat or does it still come down each particular bat's construction?
The 2-piece bats seem to have a bigger sweet spot but that's just an unscientific feeling so any opinions, or better yet, facts would be appreciated.

DCPete, I just played in a tournament in Florida and my two piece bat telescoped. Called where I punched it and also called Miken. Told no warranty on senior bats. I am in the process of trying to work something out with Miken.i could see if I cracked the bat or broke it. But this is a manufacturing issue. I was told this has happened to two piece bats. Just my thoughts for you to consider.

That shouldn't happen to 2 piece bats. It's a manufacturing defect and i think if you talk to the right person this will get rectified. Miken is typically pretty good about making things right. Hopefully Mike sees this thread and chimes in.

Being a long time PST user I find the biggest difference is you have to be a more disciplined hitter and stay away from inside pitches as hitting off the handle will give you nothing whereas a 1-piece bat you may still get a fair hit off the handle.

As always you're "the man" Mike! Good on you and Miken for stepping up and standing behind the product.
